A expectant mother should be under her healthcare provider’s care regarding diet, exercise and massage. If you are considered a high risk pregnancy for any reason doctors clearance is needed before any treatment will begin.

Mommy & Daddy Services

Soothing Hands Infant & Toddler Massage Classes—Everyone can SLEEP, BOND, & RELAX. Parents, Caregivers, Grandparents, Siblings and any other family members are encouraged to come and learn this amazing process. Parents follow along with their child as your Certified Infant Massage Teacher demonstrates on a doll. The series will focus on not only bonding and attachment but sensory and tactile stimulation as well as neurological development. Yes, studies have proven a regular massage routine can make your child smarter! Massage relaxes both caregiver and child. Each class will have discussions on topics such as: distinguishing your baby’s cues, how bonding effects self-esteem and respect, how massage benefits your child’s health by improving the functioning of all systems of the body. Of course parents learn a relaxing full body massage routine that can easily fit in any schedule. Learn adaptations to the routine for your toddler as well. In the final class parents will learn specific routines that can eliminate pain and discomfort from Colic, Gas, Congestion, Constipation and Teething!!! Come and learn a gift that lasts a lifetime!

All classes are taught by Jill Ryan: Certified Infant Massage Teacher, Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist and Certified Massage Therapist.

Pediatric Massage

Pediatric Massage is for children with special healthcare needs, children who are hospitalized or have been diagnosed with a terminal illness in hospice care. Your Pediatric Massage Therapist works along with your healthcare team to obtain the best results possible. Massage can help with conditions such: Contractures, Hyper/Hypo-tonicity, Seizures and Spasticity, as well as, specific diagnosis such as: ADD/ADHD, Asthma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Cystic Fibrosis, Down Syndrome, Hearing Loss, Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, Muscular Dystrophy, Spina Bifida, Visual Impairments and Terminal Illness.
